All the little treasures we pick up on a holiday ...
are much too precious to be stored a way in drawers and boxes. Give them a new life by arranging them in decorative kitchen jars. To give them "grounding" i've added a bit of blue sand. A little project i did for our magazine KidsLife.
Oh, and .... have you recognized the sweet drawing included in the big jar? It's a present from a sweet blog friend of mine, Anita, from "Castles, crwons and cottages", who also has an Etsy shop full of more pretties.
So, keep your eyes open this weekend, you never know, what you my find on a pretty summers day!

How fun!!! And I recognized Anita's drawing right away.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had much time for creativity this past week, as I've had 3 little house guests, ages almost 2, 4, and 6.
Our daughters children while she is in the hospital being watched for too-soon cobtractions.... baby #4 is not due for 6 more weeks.....
So, they are watching a children's morning show while I browse a few blogs before the busy-ness of the day sets in. Yours, a delight to my senses as I stop by for a visit Maritna!

I agree with you, sometimes just a change of scenery is necessary...so many reasons for traveling...but hopefully one does not need to travel to get away from one's own life...
