When life gives you lemons and for some
reason you can’t make lemonade, find a recipe for a lemon cake. The
secret is to turn bitter into sweet and darkness into light.
And anyhow, happiness is in the right mix, i think. A dose of lemon, or, at least some bright yellow color, adds instant brightmess and cheer - to a wall, a day, an outfit, a drink, a mood - especially in winter!

I SO LOVE, to start my day with YOU Martina. You have a great way of taking anything and adding a bright spot to it and make a BIG statement. What a WONDERFUL COLOR and taste and feeling you share here! I saw a recipe yesterday for lemon bars that looked so good. Oh, there are so many recipes to try right now!
ReplyDeleteOur snow is quickly melting! And that was a ton of snow that came down, but I fear that this morning, the roads will be very slick with ice. Have a soothing day my dear friend! Anita
so refreshing when it's so white and grey outside!
ReplyDeleteI so agree with you, sweet friend! And what luscious lemons these are...I can almost smell them!
ReplyDeleteI love the smell and taste of citrus in the cold months...

When i think of lemon...i think of the summer......loely weekend darling.....xxx..
ReplyDeleteMARTINA! You made dark chocolate truffles????? Now that has to be out of this world DELICIOUS! Things for me are slowing down in a good way, enabling me to now focus on the larger art project to be finished by the end of December. My house is clean and in much better order than before, so I feel better! Our snow has melted enough to make it easier to get around, and our days are sunny. I am loving this lemon post for any time of the year sweet friend! I WISH YOU A WARM day in your heart and soul! Anita
ReplyDeleteBei mir gibt es ein kleines Gewinnspiel, ich würde mich freuen wenn du mitmachst :))
