Happy weekend dear friends!
When i look out of my windows, i see a lot of trees - a walnut tree, a cherry tree, a plum tree, lilac, elderberry - all bare at the moment, in their winter-outfit which makes them look so graphic. A structure that has a rythme - quite some inspiration for painting. In the case of these, i painted the sky bright cherry blossom pink, for there is this a little spring in the air already - or is it just my mind and wishful thinking?
nice decorations making waiting for the spring to come a little bit shorter! Have a nice weekend
ReplyDeleteBare trees in the face of winter. I like the paintings of your bare trees with their long slender limbs and the way you added colour to all that loveliness. Have a dreamy weekend.
ReplyDeleteTRust all is well. E-mail forthcoming;-)
GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL ONE!!! Ahhhh....Martina, your colorful world just gives me joy, you know? I am so happy to hear that you have taken some time to just stay inside and create. Creativity gets us excited and takes us outside of ourselves! BRAVO TO YOU...look what you created. The pinks against the blacks will never ever go out of style. IT IS FRIDAY and I am going to a formal event tonight. I will dress up à la Audrey Hepburn, but the only drawback is that it will be cold and it is going to SNOW! I have a long drive home after this GALA and I am not up to it, only for that reason. WISH ME LUCK!!! Enjoy this wonderful weekend..Anita
ReplyDeletelove the pinks-and cherry trees are one of my favorites!
ReplyDeletehere-it would be wishful thinking.we're having lots of rain and wind and possibly some snow!

Dearest friend,
ReplyDeleteIt is Friday night, I am home alone, for Ruben had a function at HIS work that he had to attend. I decided to stay home from the GALA event because it is supposed to SNOW TONIGHT! And, my eyes are just killing me. I was relieved actually to speak to another teacher today who is experiencing the same eye problems as myself. Swollen, red and a bit painful eyes, we think it is due to the COLD weather. In my case as well, I have been up since 3:00am, so I think I am LOVING sitting in my new rooms, taking in the beauty. There is one HUGE piece of furniture that I need to sell in the dining room and then that room will be complete and ready to photograph. But I plan on posting my new post tomorrow because my eyes are just too tired! THANK YOU PRECIOUS for visiting me today....I wish you a happy weekend full of color and LOVE!! Anita
Oh, I just LOVE these! So Pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for joining me for Friday Pretties. I always enjoy visiting you,

ReplyDeleteHappy weekend sweet one.
Beautiful painting!!! I love trees too, I used to spent time with my tree for almost 2 years when I first moved to NYC and feeling lonely!
ReplyDeleteMy darling friend, I hope you are feeling better today!!! Oh, I was so tired last night when I came home. The problem is my eyes which I believe are suffering from the extreme cold and dryness in the air. A colleague of mine was complaining yesterday about the same thing. Oh, spring do come quickly!!! But I am having so much fun in my house, Martina! I SO WISH YOU WERE HERE!!!! GROSSES BISES, Anita
