Friday Pretties: Jewellery design

Some drawings around the theme of jewellery design i found in my desk the other day. I did these several years ago, to be honest, quite a long while ago, for the last picture shows the design for our wedding band. The rings where the only thing that actually got made - from paper into metal. I had a client who had ordered ideas for a special watch to be made exclusively for him, and doing this, i got ideas for many other things. I had fun looking at these sheets again, so maybe you do, too!

Are you ready for the weekend, like i am?  This week felt a bit tense for me and i can't wait to relax and come visit and chat with you.

  1. Aw, do have a very very relaxing weekend, sweet Martina. Put those feet up! I can imagine your surprise when finding these lovely treasures in your drawer. Unexpected surprises are the best! Well actually each surprise is unexpected, most of the time. Anyway, you probably know what I try to say.
My weeks have been way too busy too, I long for the Summer holdiays.
Lots of love for a wonderful weekend my friend o xx o xx o xx

  3. What beautiful drawings! I would love to see the finished rings! My husband made me some jewelry in his younger days, in a high school jewelry making class. If he had all the right equipment, I know he could make some gorgeous jewelry pieces with it all. I will have to take photos and share them on a blog post one day.

It has been a bit busy over my way also, so I can relate with wanting a little slice of peace. I hope your weekend is a calm and relaxing one for you dear friend...:)

    xoxo...Gloria

  18. Oh dearest Martina, our weather is on the cool side as well with showers predicted for the night. But that is good because I want to organize myself here before I spend too much time outside, distracted by the summer beauty. If feels so good to just MUSE, THINK, CREATE...and to see your lovely comment come by way. I am now in the process of thinking up my new blog post....so here goes! BIGS HUGS and that bubble bath sounds like a great idea! BISES, Anita

  22. WOW MARTINA, your comments really made me happy! Well, I have not yet begun to take classes, but I have been reading MORE about poetry. It really does work to KNOW HOW to do something..is it noticeable? A writer can have RAW TALENT, but one cannot go by that alone. SKILLS have to be learned and applied, then the freedom comes. THANK YOU MY DEAR FRIEND! Oh we are having so much rain. I hope it will stop tomorrow so I can go out and do some MUCH NEEDED gardening!

How is YOUR DAY MY DEAR FRIEND? Anita

  23. Hope the tension has left, dahling! I had a glass (or 2) of champagne last night to help ease my tension away :) Maybe I'll have one for you tonight!?!?

It's Father's Day weekend here in the US so my dad and sis are visiting. Having a nice time with them. Have a delightful weekend yourself!

  25. Enjoy your Sunday afternoon with your parents, liebe Martina. We have tons of sweet raindrops on the windowpanes too. Preparing a little teatime too ;) Sandwiches and treats from the oven. Nice and warm... perhaps I even lit the fireplace. It is soooo chilly. Have a happy happy start to the new week, sweet friend o xx o xx o xx o

  26. Oh precious friend! WE HAD TONS OF RAIN YESTERDAY and now the ground is SO wet that I simply cannot garden. But I am so enjoying the silence and the beauty of my lush green garden, sipping tea, writing and reading. HAVE FUN WITH YOUR PARENTS!!! We are celebrating Fathers' Day here today...are you? Unfortunately, I cannot celebrate with mine, for he died 24 years ago. AND this is the day my mum passed away, the same year. But memories are sweet and that is what I have to be most grateful for..and for friends like you.

    HAPPY DAY! Anita
