Decorate your table - DIY

November has these long, dark evenings that just spell DINNER! Plus Thanksgiving is coming up for my american friends here. To brighten your table setting and give some artsy, creative flair try making these easy tags i spotted at "Eat, Drink, Chic". She just cut out the shapes from thick, creamy white paper, went over it loosely with a big brush drenched in watercolor, and added the writing with a fine brush. Anyone can do this and  - hey, it's fun!
Have a lovely start to your week my dear ones. I'm kind of reluctant to let go of the weekend and get my motor up and running - wish me luck!

  6. Good morning precious artist and friend! Oh dear, no matter what I feel about my failures as an artist, when I see things like this, that tickle of pleasure hits my mind and heart and makes me glad to have an artistic bent. My art show was a flop, I only sold 3 items, but the success will be shared on my next blog post. HAPPY DAY MY SWEET and you are an inspiration of color to me!!! LOVE, Anita

  7. Oh sweet Martina, THANK YOU FOR YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT! YOU KNOW TOO? You know the disappointment too? And your friend! It is all so risky but you are right; the world needs people like us who are NUTS and who see what cannot be seen with the eyes. OH YOU ARE JUST A GREAT FRIEND to get back to me! I am thankful however, that I have a teaching background that if necessary, I could go back to it. I am substitute teaching when I want, so that is good. If I had no other skills it would be worse, that is for sure.

My dear friend, I wish you a lovely day! Anita
