There is no surprise more magical than the surprise of being loved. It is God's finger on man's shoulder.

A sweet little baking project to celebrate love and have creative fun while doing so. I have found instructions for this amazing icing on a great blog all around baking and decorating called sweetopia. I'm not usually a great baker, but at the moment, i love it. Maybe because it keeps me warm and is not as demanding as painting. Still thinking about what to give my honey on valentines: some funky baked lips? Have a sweet weekend lovelies, i'd love to hear what you are up to.
And: Please excuse my slowness in blogging or lack in comments. I have problems with blogger lately. The comment boxed disappear, when i want to write something. Has any of you a similar problem?

i myself have been quite off from blogger lately, hence have no knowledge of any commenting issues. Hope blogger clears it soon!
Happy weekend Martina :)
Yes, I've also had the problem.
ReplyDeleteHappy cookie post! I love the quote too!
Oh it is so yummy to come here!!! HELLO THERE MARTINA! Oh dear, what a cold day it was today! I was out for quite a while in the cold and my sore throat is not good! It is now evening and I am getting cozy with my love. THANK YOU MY FRIEND for coming to visit with me. You are so special and I wish you an evening of total bliss with the men in your life! Anita
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous!!!! Almost too pretty to eat.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun! I hope you had a good time baking all these goodies. I thought of you today as I was painting a small canvas, and then later got some paint on Maximus' hand to get his handprint. He was giggling when I was painting his hand, and practicing prior to it. I guess it felt ticklish to him. haha...
ReplyDeleteOh, yes...I too recently had blogger issues. I would click comment, and then the page would just hang forever and act like it was going to load but never would on certain blogs. SO FRUSTRATING! I hope it works for you soon.
Happy Valentine's day, Martina!
Heidi

Thanks Martina, for visiting the madness at Rattus Scribus. I'm a cookie fiend. I love short bread cookies with Earl Grey tea.
ReplyDeleteHmm. Sounds good about now.
All the best,
Ruben
What beautiful and festive cookies, perfect for Valentine's Day celebration! Wishing you a wonderful Valentine's Day, Martina! :)
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable! I have some sugar cookies I made yesterday that need some icing...off to take a peek. Hugs to you for a Great Valentines day my friend.xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteThese cookies look so good right about now! Why is that? I seem to crave sweets after dinner. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was fun having a go at the handprint art...I got a pretty good one of Maximus' hand...not perfect, but it's a little challenging doing that on your own. haha...I so wish I could take some painting lessons from you! I have done some painting over the years...mostly with acrylics, but I am by no means "great." It is fun though to mix colors and see the pretty possibilities.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Heidi
Hi Martina!
ReplyDeleteI've made sugar cookies before, but never this fancy!

ps I was having trouble with the comment box disappearing and find if you refresh your page, up in the browser section seems to help. Hope this works for you. Cxo
Oh, Martina, I'm so glad you came around to call! Thank you, dear. I've been trying to get around to wish everyone a happy St. Valentine's day, but our little one was sent home today with a 103 temperature! He missed his little V-day party at school :( So that has been my afternoon! And YES! I was telling a few bloggers that on certain blogs I will almost finish a long comment, and suddenly the box will jump, refresh, and all my words are gone! I have to copy each line, or retype it , then paste a new comment. It only happens on some blogs, but yours is one! I have started this 4 times!!! [ and to think just 10 years ago I was complaining about ink smearing!!!!]
ReplyDeleteLove on this special day,
dawne
Love, love, LOVE everyday sweet Martina ♥
ReplyDeletehope your days are always love filled
Good morning precious friend!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed a WONDERFUL Valentines Day!!!! We had a fourth grade party at school that as always, was LOUD but fun. SO I CAME HOME EXHAUSTED and still with a sore throat!!! Anita
