"Novels are like paintings, specifically watercolors. Every stroke you put down you have to go with. Of course you can rewrite, but the original strokes are still there in the texture of the thing. "
Joan Didion
Just a bit of watercolor happiness to get your week of to a lovely start. I once did it for a series of potscards and it reminded me of how long it is i sat outside with my paper and colors, painting "al fresco" - something i really wish to get back to this spring! Easter is coming realy close now - have yo planned anything fun?

What a beautiful watercolor painting! I love anything with flowers, especially with spring in the air. We are going to Arizona this year to visit my mom, so we will be in the desert for Easter.

MY darling Martina,
ReplyDeleteIt is so kind of you to come to visit me today as you are celebrating with family. I have no family and my husband's family is scattered all over the United States. We are enjoying a lovely sunny but chilly spring day in Minnesota, and I am so grateful for the LIFE and LOVE around me. You are such a blessed friend and I am glad to hear that you are enjoying a break from work and are just soaking in all the LOVE.....
