So sad!

There are few things in life more heartwarming than to be welcomed by a cat.
Tay Hohoff

Lovelies, this is going to be a very sad weekend for me. Yesterday, after he'd been missing for some days, we found our beloved cat little Itzig had died. He was such a special little fellow, actually a real person and family member, always loving, playful, adventurous and tender. We cried buckets and miss him so much already.
He welcomed us every time we got home and generally was like a good spirit in our house. I was grateful for having him, every single day and am glad that his life, although short, was a lovely one.
Am taking a break until monday and hope, that meanwhile all is fine in your world

Summer adventures

"I believe cats to be spirits come to earth.  A cat, I am sure, could walk on a cloud without coming through."
Jules Verne

Meet Mr. Itzig, our cat. He loves to play hide and seek and he loves tuna-fish and he loves to be cudlled - a lot! Sometimes, i wonder, what he's up to when we are gone. It's always hard leaving him behind, since he's such a social little fellow and so much part of the family. Am here for a day and will come visit you later!

Our furry friend

Made these paintings as a christmas present for my husband, Andreas - although, at times, he's really jealous of that little guy! He's so neat and charming in his ever elegant fur, and he knows how to be nice to someone, who feeds him well! When we get out of bed in the morning, he sneaks in there - to sleep until lunchtime ...
