Yellow mellow
A painting from last spring, celebrating the yellow things, that so belong to the beginning of spring - even if lemons don't really grow here ;) Everything is easier, when spring is in the air and the evenings get longer again ... Today, i've had my first Cappuccino sitting in a café outside - to good to be true!Painting: Martina Voigt-Schmid
yes, I am missing so much colors!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so with you liebe Martina. Yellow = Spring Your painting is beautiful, yellow combines perfectly pretty with this shade of blue.

ReplyDeleteGOOD MORNING DEAREST! It is already Wednesday, and I know you usually post on Mondays, and somehow I missed this lovely post. Your paintings evoke a fresh and new world to me, being one that often shuns too much color. Like I have said before, you and a small handful of others have shown me the possibilities of color.. SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL! I trust that you are doing well these days? I AM HANGING IN THERE!!!! Love to you, Anita
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting! It makes me happy...always love your use of color. And I LOVE lemons. Seriously...I have been known to eat them plain. :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning beautiful friend! Thank you for visiting me yesterday! It is truly a calming comfort to see cheerful friends visit, and I especially love to check my blog during my lunch or preparation break at school. With the exception of one colleague in the fifth grade, everyone else is on their own, they are not ARTISTS and are on another level which often leaves me feeling as if I don't belong....so seeing visits from friends in Blogland is a comfort. I have a conference tomorrow with a parent whose emails seem to have an air of DISCONTENT and she is almost on the verge of being a sort of bully!!! So I am not looking forward to speaking with her tomorrow. The good thing is that it is Friday and if at the end of our meeting I feel bad about myself, I can just deal with it on the way home, cry or laugh about it and start my WEEKEND!!!! HAVE YOURSELF a lovely day my friend! Anita
ReplyDeleteEinen guten Nacht, liebe Martina. Let's hope the sun will be out tomorrow! xxxx
ReplyDeletegreat colors! beautiful work :)
ReplyDeletei couldn't live without my cappucinos ;)
This is so gorgeous, Martina! Instantly brightens this rainy day :) xoxo

ReplyDeleteAhh, I love this painting! Cant wait for the daffodils to open, they are almost ready to pop. :) It is little warmer here too but far from being able to sit outside. Enjoy, xo Monika...
ReplyDeleteOh sweet friend, I am so happy to know that you are thinking of me as I go into the LION'S DEN today! My colleague and I that share that parent are amazed at the aggressive she is being! I can't wait for TONIGHT to come home to my quiet little palace!!! I will let you know how it goes!!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY, Anita
