Monday Love: Summer bliss

Let the sunshine in!
It's a hot day today and i soaked up the sun while i went to work, feeling the warmth around my shoulders. It's a "let's wear sandals, sing a song, eat an ice-cream, look at the blue sky and do a happy dance" kind of day. A "barefoot glamour godess with flowers in her hair" kind of day, a day to swim in the fountain and have iced espresso! How do you like to celebrate a summers day?

    Beautiful colours!! I wish it was a hot summers day here, but its grey and still. I love to walk along the water's edge when its hot and summery!! Or walk among the flowers and hear nature playing!! Hope you have a wonderful Monday!! xx

    Oh Martina....I think you already said it all.....I was wearing a raincoat yesterday with another jacket underneath as we went for a BEAUTIFUL walk around the lakes. But I LOVE YOUR IDEA of bare shoulders being hugged by the sun, iced expresso and just ambling around....I am enjoying my time off, and what I crave the most is total quiet and time to read...to soak up all the words of great poets and writers....ENJOY YOUR BEAUTIFUL WORLD and that painting dearest, that PAINTING IS BRILLIANT!!!!     So nice that you are having some nice weather. I love sunny, blue sky days...it just makes my heart happy.

    I was starting to get warm at home today and realized the the temp was 81 degrees inside, so I decided to turn on the a/c.

    Such a simple yet color and fun filled painting... Really pleasing to the eyes!! The best way to ward off the hot and sticky summer in India is to stay indoors and enjoy your cold milk shake and ice creams!!!

    Oh what a beautiful painting! I love your idea of celebrating a summer day. I've been spending a lot of mine indoors because it is so hot outside, but I hope to spend more days by the pool!
