Have an aqua weekend!

Fresh & exiting ...

Am celebrating happy blue and aqua shades in my new paintings - it makes me feel like i just visited the Caribean islands! But since i had no time to download these pix from my camera yet, i give you some other yummy aqua inspiration for the weekend and hope you get to enjoy the best of August. It will be a bit cooler here, adn i have planned walks and time out with friends. Excuse my slowness in blogging lately. The new paintings in addition to other work takes so much of my energy. But i'll do a good bloghop over the weekend and come visit you all!

Some  vitamins are always a good thing, right? And aren't they so much prettier and yummier in form of fruit than of pills? To me, fruits are so inspiring in their combined force of beautiful shape and color, good smell and even better taste, so, before eating, i decided to paint them. And don't you think, something pretty to look at is healthy as well? Some new little paintings on canvas, fresh from my studio, with collaged bits of pretty vintage papers and maps. Friday Pretties: Cottage Makeover

Hallo weekend, here we come!

This cottage looks like a perfect hideaway after a busy week - a place to slow down and let your hair down, to breathe deeply, sleep in and enjoy the simple pleasures of fresh air, good food, picking flowers, maybe working in the garden or being creative. Don't you just love that turquoise wooden wall with white stencil leaves pattern in the bedroom? And the yellow-green with white and a touch of pink in the living room? Maybe, you can hear the sound of the ocean in the distance, and smell freshly baked scones - Mrs. Moussie is coming over for tea!
