Monday Love: A day in the garden

With a lovely sundress
by Emerson made. She used to make and sell just gorgeous handmade flowers, and i always thought, wow, her style is so unique and special, i would like to buy almost every piece she's wearing. And it seems like i was not the only one thinking this way. The other day i looked at her page and - voilá - she has her own clothing line now. It's worth checking out!

With tea at 4.30 - served in pretty china
- one more thing on my  ever growing wish list!  Teatime is a custom i love, although we only practise it on special days - complete with scones and cream and berries .... hmm, why not today?

With a self made bouquet of flowers
- let's see if i still have some roses left to pick in my garden. What i certainly do have is elderberries - they grow like a wildfire here!

With a baby boxwood
- just got this cute little one - it needs a proper pot now! My dream garden is a combination of formal and wild, and nicely cropped boxwoods are perfect to add some stucture here and there.  Foto: Moi

And with enough time
to get around doing all these things - and maybe some more. Heeeeelp, so many things on my desk! See you outside!

  5. Martina dearest! Oh, thank you sweet one for coming again this morning! And here I come, to find a new post.....you must have posted after my routine check early in the morning! What a gorgeous little sundress, so simple, pretty, feminine and young, but for ANY AGE! And then the lovely tea set....anytime is a good time for tea, even in the middle of summer. And the boxwood plant, MY FAVORITE. That is all that I have in my back garden and the little rabbits love to hide in it! Such charm to be had if we just looked out for it! You do that well!!!!

  6. Thank you so much everyone! Hard to believe, but - so far i really did have a day in the garden. I was working at home today, doing drawings for a customer, and couldn't resisist to go outside for a while. Dressed in jeans and T-shirt though, feeling like a female Crocodile Dundee, pulling out tons of weeds, lians, blackberry bushes and things like that. And then tea - yes, teatime - but not so typicall with smoked ham and melon. And would you believe it? I found me a lovely bouqet of roses, maybe the last ones, they look so pretty! Glad i posted this, otherwise, maybe i would have missed this day ...
