Do you love the taste of lemons?
I do! And somehow today, as if there weren't a 1000 other things on my mind, i find myself thinking about making lemon curd. It's yellow, it's sweet and it's special (at least over here in Germany) ... and easy to make. And there are so many fun ways to enjoy it: on joghurt, on toast, on scones, on cakes ... it just adds this lovely cheese-cake flavour to anything. Have you ever tried making it? Here is the recipe!
Hope your week is getting off to a fabulous start girls - am seding a lot of lemony sunshine your way!

MOST BEAUTIFUL FRIEND,
ReplyDeleteI L.O.V.E. LEMON CURD! My mother used to make THE BEST in town. We had lemon and lime trees in our yard in Los Angeles and she would make the curd and then make lemon meringue pies. I also have had ORANGE CURD and LIME CURD. YOU WOULD LOVE IT. Yes, it is lovely in yogurt and on anything!!! I so adore your post today; the colors are just so happy darling. Have a great day. We are FINALLY having warmer weather!!! BISES, Anita
I love lemon! I never made lemon curd though. Sounds amazing. That will have to change :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I love lemon curd! Didn't know it had egg yolks...well it has protein then and can be counted as my main course, right? :)
ReplyDeleteOh my sweet friend...now you got me craving lemon bars...lemon ice...lemon pie..lemon loaf...etc.
ReplyDeleteHugs. xoxoxo
Love lemons! Especially in ice water. Please send some sunshine my way...I want to go for a walk outside with Maximus. :)

ReplyDeleteOh yes Martina, LIME or ORANGE curd is just as magical as the lemon, but you must try finding it!!! OR MAKE IT! On a scone, either one is killer diller good! And you have rain today dearest? Oh, that will bring you many flowers....we had a GREAT DOWNPOUR the other night, and now my gardens are starting to really look like something! We are at least 2-3 weeks AHEAD of schedule this year!!!!
