Friday Art: Meet Giselle

"One must act in painting as in life, directly."
Pablo Picasso

This black and yellow lady named "Giselle", is another example of collaborative art between me and my friend Andrea König, me doing the painting part, and her overlaying the whole picture with a mysterious cobweb of tiny silver dots and typographie in crayon. We've done quite a lot of work together over the years, and i've set up a special blog to showcase it. If you want to see more, you can do that here.

Have a most gorgeous weekend, filled with treats, fun and love -  and and let's make the best of summer!

Painting: Martina Voigt Schmid, Andrea König

  13. Precious friend,

The summer has been a close friend to my soul this year; staying home, indulging myself in sweet nothings such as relaxing, reading and writing and creating....things I do not get to do much of during the school year have brought such joy. But what is more joyful is the companionship of friends both virtual and here in my physical space. True bliss!!! SCHOOL STARTS IN 19 DAYS!!! NOOOO!

Have a truly blissful weekend! Anita
