Ulyana in Paris

Stepping out  ... with glamour, with candor and a good dose of "joie de vivre".

How was your weekend dear ones?  Mine was cozy and lovely. Saturday was so warm, that we could have coffee outside, wearing nothing but a T-shirt. Saturday brought on a lot of wind and leaves and nuts were falling down from the trees. Besides eating a lot of good food, taking walks and just cocooning i've  been working on another fashion illustration, this time featuring a street stylee from Ulyana Sergeenko.
I love how she combines a glamorous cape and salmon pink heels to an all jeans outfit here. And how she steps out in those heels - tee hee - must work on that a little still! Have a super start into your week - and should the last days of october ruffle your leaves a little - let them fly with the wind!

  5. Another pretty illustration, well done!
I love this weather. Few more days in our forecast and then some rain and the temperature is suppose to drop to more seasonal "digits". Oh well, it is a fabulous fall so far :) xo M...

  6. MARTINA??????? YOU ARE OUTSTANDING! OUTSTANDING! Have you thought about putting these illustrations on cards?????? BRAVO ! I love that gorgeous black "boa" flowing to the ground with her jeans and heels!

Thank you my precious and faithful friend, for coming to visit me. Computer problems, lack of time and not being able to upload photos on my blog left me with the choice to post a poem I did not intend to share, only because I don't want my blog to be a place where sadness dwells. But every once in a while, a poem will pop up!!!!!!

Happy days ahead for us both. BLESS YOU! Anita

  7. Good evening beautiful Martina!!!!!!!

How I love what you are doing with your art. I can see you doing illustrations for high-end magazines or books that focus on the French life! I am so proud of you because I know you work very hard on your painting, and look at what you are now doing.

I too am trying to branch out with my writing and I really appreciate the support of you,my friends. Be well and enjoy yet another beautiful day of discovery! Anita

  10. Hello Sweet Martina,
Is this not the coolest looking lady walking down the street with her cape!!! I love it.
I live in southern Miss. ..near New Orleans. it is always so humid here. Even in winter .Our winters here...30 degrees will cut you like a knife. Because of the humidity. But its still really beautiful and I love it outside. You have a most wonderful weekend.I always love your visits.

  11. Hi Martina!

I'm in love with this piece! I dream of going to Paris someday. Now I will picture myself going to see the Eiffel Tower in high heels, jeans and a gorgeous cape just like darling Ulyana. What fun!

The nights are dipping to almost freezing here in Ohio. I've brought my favorite herb pots in and made I nice home for them on my kitchen counter so they won't freeze in the first good frost. The leaves have just about all fallen at Golden Pond and the squirrels are gathering their winter supply of nuts.

    Blessings, Edie Marie

  13. Oh to have so much style! Makes me feel pretty frumpy in what I have on now...thank heavens I just stayed in! I often have thought...I would LOVE to go to Paris...but then I would need to go shopping first! :) Maybe when my kids are older...& my husband richer :) He had better work on getting a big promotion ;)

&I'll let you in on a little secret ...even though I miss heels dearly...my husband is shorter than me by two full inches---four when I flop a big bushy bun on top of my head (I have huge hair)! :) So sadly...I wear flats...unless I go out with my girlfriends :)

  14. Lovely drawing Martine and it funny because my son has just sent me a photo of his friends by the Eiffel Tower! It looks quite sunny there today, warmer than the UK. :)

  17. Happy Sunday my dear Martina! BAKING MUFFINS TODAY? You just gave me the best idea! It is so windy outside, gloriously blowing all the golden and red leaves everywhere. It is cozy, we have daylight savings, and it couldn't be any cozier. What makes it all fun is corresponding with YOU and others. Enjoy raking, being with the family and your gorgeous art. HUGS TO MY DEAR MARTINA! Anita
