Friday Pretties: A paper wreath - and how to make it

Do you have old books - old, old books that are not pretty or good enough to keep? Here's something you can do with them, if you're not afraid to cut of some pages! A paper-wreath, leaves made out of printed pages. I liked the black and white look - but maybe it looks good as well, if you cut leaves out of old magazines - with colored pages. A little project if you don't quite feel ready yet to start on your christmas-decoration, and want to keep the autumn feeling lingering a bit longer.

The last picture shows you, how to do it - really simple and easy. Cut the leaves and then fix them with deco-needles on a styrofoam-wreath - that way, you can move them a little bit and adjust them to your liking. A little bow can be aded as a final touch.
Have a great weekend! And visit Joyce to see  more pretties here!!

  9. MARTINA! GOOD EVENING, or at least from where I am at! YOu may be in bed by now, but I just wanted to come back to say that I am so happy to hear that it is only stress that your husband experienced...but all the same, prevention measures must be in order, for ALL OF US! May you both enjoy a quiet time together and rekindle a peaceful life that is more precious than anything else! THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS ON MY HEADER! It was fun to make! 24. Good mdorning my dear, dear friend! I HAD A GREAT WEEKEND! And, I slept in this morning, which is NOT a good thing given that I need to head into work immediately to set up for our spelling test which is wickedly complicated for 50 fourth graders! But ahhhh, do I feel amazing! I woke up however, with my annual laryngitis;I felt it coming on last night with a slight sore throat and headache, but this Thursday, CONFERENCES begin and what a silly time to lose my voice!!! All in all however, creativity was abundant this weekend with the meeting of a blogger pal over HIGH TEA yesterday. We had a blast. Therefore, my recent post CAME TRUE!!! Now to get over to Germany, the dream would be complete.......

    BISES, Anita
