Two worlds - one garden

There are fairies at the bottom of our garden.
Rose Fyleman

Although now, it may be too cold for them to dance and play outside. Or have you ever seen a fairy in a warm fur-coat? Garden in November and garden in June. Which one do you like better? I'm definitely a summer loving person, but can see the beauty in winter too. The graphic structures of the bare branches and twigs has got something. Keep warm today!

  1. Oh Martina, no season can ever keep me away from dreaming of faeries, bunnies with wings and sweet little birds that sing! Thank YOU for being such a lovely friend who dreams and sees the world through intelligent eyes! I love what you said in your comments about the world not being dull and gray....we are ALL so gifted in many ways. I AM SO EXHAUSTED DEAREST..there is no school this week HOWEVER, yesterday I had a meeting at school from 8:00am to 11:30 and then from 12:30pm to 8::15pm we had parent conferences NON STOP!!!! I ate dinner at 9:00pm! WOOOO.....I am off to another meeting this morning and then we are OFF for the rest of the week starting at 4:00pm today! Thinking of you, have a wonderful day and I am thankful for wonderful friends like you.

  2. I love the 'before and after' photos. :) My 'garden', such as it is, is looking very barren. One of these days, I'm going to find my green thumb.

  5. Deaeset Martina,

It is such a joy to share so much with you...our common view of art, family, and what makes us tick in general! Oh, tonight I start my Thanksgiving holiday. Wed. Thurs. and Friday plus the weekend is a much needed repose and I really want to concentrate on enjoying myself and replenishing my spirit.

I wish you a delightful time of relaxation and yoga, art and all that makes you smile!!! THANK YOU FOR COMING TO VISIT ME DEAR, DEAR FRIEND!

  7. That is a hard choice to decide on. They are both very beautiful! I love the textural appeal of the winter view, but I could envision sitting in that lawn chair with a cup of iced tea in the summertime...:)
Thanks for sharing! Wishing you a day full of warm cups of tea shared with loved ones...:)
