Monday Love: Flowers and a painting

The temple bell stops but I still hear the sound coming out of the flowers.
Basho

Exiting ... how sometimes things, like these fading flowers, interact with a painting and  add to its composition. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder! I just bought some fresh flowers to invite spring. Do you feel it yet?

  19. hello Martina, i come here once in a while, but i am so lazy when it is time to leave a comment. feeling sheepishly guilty, so sorry. Your blog is always so fun to visit. love your painting and as libbie said, the daffodils make the yellow look so bright and cheery. i have to tell you i am also in love with your pillow covers i saw in your other post. Makes me want to sew several for my bedroom who is in need of some cheery and flowery fabric.
happy week end to you xx
