Orange Art

Happy November bloggy fellows!

This month arrives here with full force and a mouth full of wind that just stripes the trees naked in almost one go. Here's some vibrant color mix for you to keep warm. A recent collage painting featuring a fruit i can't live without: Oranges! Aren't they just like little suns, so pretty to look at and so delicious to eat? Hope the week goes well for you - i feel like snuggling in with a goos book and lots of tea - and a lot of oranges!

Painting: Martina Voigt-Schmid, also available as a print in the shop.

  3. HOW DID I MISS THIS HAPPY POST?? I know, I have been in my studio all week long and all day long!

Oh Martina, this is such a refreshing color and piece of art my dear! You certainly make me smile. And my dear friend Irina also paints with vibrant colors, helping me see beyond my gray and white love!

We are just fine here in the MIDWEST; but our dear friends out on the east coast have suffered so much damage. The last I read, there were 16 deaths due to trees falling. It is cooler here now, but our typical CHILL has not yet arrived. We can actually still go outside with no real hard bite of cold.

Have a cozy evening yourself and tonight I am making a pot of tea! LOVE TO YOU! ANita

  8. This painting oozes positivity and warmth. As you are coping with chilly, unpredictable weather, we are warming up to a hot summer - it was 35 deg C today. Bisous

  9. My sweet friend! Yes, we have not had any stormy weather here since we are so far in the middle of the country, away from the coasts. And I have made MANY a creation, ready to take with me on Friday to the bridal boutique!

So you all celebrate Halloween out there? I know that there was a time when in France it was not celebrated, but I am finding that more Europeans do acknowledge it! HAVE FUN WITH THE LITTLE GHOSTS OUT THERE!!! Hugs my dear, Anita
