I have always tried to hide my efforts and wished my works to have a light joyousness of springtime which never lets anyone suspect the labors it has cost me.

  10. Flowers and snow--I was intrigued by that title for sure! We have snow but will not be seeing flowers here for a while--that's why I bought myself a beautiful little pot of three red/yellow-tipped tulips a few days ago--I'm really missing flowers, plants and greenery!

  11. Daffodils scream Springtime to me! I LOVE them. It reminds me of when I was young...my Mom had them growing each year in their yard (still does)...

I hope you had a relaxing weekend, Martina!

  13. I love the vibrancy in this painting. It speaks to my heart, especially today. It's is March 1st today and here in Wales that means it is St. David's day and the tradition on this day is to wear a daffodil :-)
    Thank you.
