Let your art guide you - weekly challenge

Poppies are so beautiful - but you cannot pick them and put them into a vase! This painting is called "Poppy girls", and somehow i felt drawn to deep and passionate red. The week's been hot with tension for me, lots of work, difficult things to deal with, hot and damp weather - and red seemed just the colour. Now i feel ready to plunge into deep blue water and relax.
What's your favourite colour at the moment?

Come and get creative with us at art n' sewl - we share our work every thursday.

  2. These are gorgeous! That color is perfect.
My color right now...I really love periwinkle for some reason. I need something light for the season. During Autumn, I go for the darker, more dramatic shades.

  8. Oh Martina dearest! Well, seeing that you came to visit me and left a lovely message, you know that at the moment, TURQUOISE, ROBIN'S EGG BLUE is the color of the hour for me!!! These paintings are magnificent, Martina! Oh, today was my last day of school and the kids are gone....what a year! Now, I will be going to California to see family in about 10 days. I will post on it after this new post that I am working on tonight. Do come for a visit this weekend! Bless you, Anita
