Friday Art: Doggy painting

I have no fear of making changes, destroying the image, etc., because the painting has a life of its own.
Jackson Pollock

This is a quote that shows much about the spirit of collaborative art. One has to trust the other, to do the right thing - not always easy, but full of discovereies and surprises. This weekend, i'll participate in open studio event at my friends house. That friend i do collaborative art with from time to time - Andrea. Among the things shown will be the dogy-painting you see above.  It's foggy fall weather today and i feel like having a rest, cook soup, bake apple-pie ... but all this will have to wait until sunday.  Hope you're all have a cozy time - will come round for tea!

  7. You are so busy with that open studio event, Ooooh, would I love to come! I am with you on the delgihts of homemade soup, apple pie.....

I pulled out my breadmaker machine (it has sat unused for a couple of years, I forget about it!) and had a pre-packaged bread mix and made 'homemade' rolls for dinner the other night with deli-purchased soup. I was so excited as I smelled the bread cooking.... but it was a total DUD. I really need to get back to making some completely home-made delicious comfort food!

Like you, I am often just so busy with ART, one does not have time for everything!!!!

Enjoy the compliments and sales sure to be had this weekend Martina!

  10. Oh Martina dearest, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A FUN SATURDAY! I can only imagine how wonderful that art opening is going be be. I had a good day; I attempted to take some photos of my Etsy shop products, but they came out TERRIBLE!!! But tonight, I have another strategy that MIGHT work. My kitchen counter has cut glass sparkles on the marble. The light on my stove hood shines down in a way that I THINK may pick up the light on my glittered products so MAYBE I can have some things to post in my shop!

THANK YOU FOR VISITING ME DEAR FRIEND and get your rest! Anita

  20. Beautiful!! That does take a lot of trust in a friend. How wonderful to see the combined results of both of your work together. My husband brought home an apple pie on Friday night to share with the family. It was bought at a place called: Casa De Fruta. Oh my, that was the best tasting apple pie. YUM! :)

Thank you for your very kind words you gave me about the passing of my dear step dad. I appreciate your sweet blogging friendship!

Have a wonderful week my sweet artistic friend!

    xoxo..Gloria
