Banana Cupcakes

Cupcakes, anyone?

Some baking for our magazine KidsLife in the house of my lovely norwegian friend Ingunn. We made Banana cupcakes, following the inspiration given by the famous Bakerella, and had fun preparing everything and decorating with colorful sugar bits. The frosting was a bit too soft to keep it in shape, but nevertheless it looked good to us. If you're a perfectionist you should cool it for several hours to make it look like Bakerella did, but our kids couldn't wait that long ;) If you want to give this a try, look at the recipe here!

  16. Martina! How yummy! I can't imagine the kids could wait too long before digging in!!! Even your cupcakes are a work of art!!! I am getting hungry just looking at 'em!

Thanks for your sweet comments about the apples too! At harvest time here they sell these sheets of caramel right next to the apples :) SO I just used a (clean:) exacto knife to cut out their initials...I will say I started with Bo's whole name but by the time I finished I knew I was only doing the other's initials :) But we had a fun time with 'em!

Hope you have a wonderful day today!!! & I hope you have a few cupcakes left to snack on today!
